roll those dice

what would you do for a klondike bar?

what would you do for an internship at the agency that created that famous campaign? (and many others) i had not heard of campbell mithun until today, when i was catching up on twitter. they are looking for summer 2011 interns, and all you have to do is tweet. it's called the lucky 13 and they've been doing it for 6 years. the idea comes from ray mithun, co-founder. he once said "if thirteen is unlucky for some people, it must be lucky for someone else." and so, the lucky 13 was born.

what you have to do is register (starting today) and from february 13-25 you tweet 13 times saying whatever you see as fit to describe yourself and express your creativity. they are offering 10 week paid internships at their office in minneapolis in 4 departments: accounts, media, creative and technology from june 6 - august 12. finalists are to be interviewed in march and from there they decide who they will hire. they have some awesome clients, and judging by the videos from the lucky 13 of 2010, this would be an amazing learning experience. i was curious to see if they accept applications from their lovely canadian colleagues, so i sent a quick email. and it turns out that everyone is welcome to apply and start tweeting. it sounds like a cool way to get your name out there, and hey who knows, maybe even score a summer gig in the states. swing by the site to for more info http://www.lucky13internship.com

and now...trying to sum myself up in 13 posts x 140 characters. this should be interesting.
