i was laying in bed last thinking about school (what else is new) projects and whatnot. then i started thinking about my classmates. we see each other everyday. we hang out on weekends, brainstorm together, go to bars together, shop together and live together. i thought about how lucky we are to have all met each other and get along so well! it's been three years. some of them i know everything about, to the point that i consider them my sisters, and some i am just starting to really get to know this year even. i'm very thankful for these lovely people in my class and am happy to be able to call them my friends. to all the third year cabas, thanks for being there for me and i'm glad we are all going through this crazy adschool/life journey together!

home sweet home!

hello everyone! thanks for checking out my blog. it's a place for my random thoughts, rants, cool stuff i find.. and maybe a thing or two about advertising haha

since it's that lovely time of the year, christmas holiday, i'm at my mum's house in the woods in ottawa. i got home yesterday and i'm going to be spending my first day baking with her, decorating the tree and making a gingerbread house with three of my best friends who haven't been all together in over a year. needless to say, the internet doesn't work so well out here in the forest, so posting everyday might be an issue! also, i recently bought the url for my new website www.sophiehebert.ca right now, there is only a placeholder site up. i have a website done, but am still working on improving some of my portfolio pieces before it goes live. i'm aiming for a late december, early january launch, just in time for toronto ad week 2011's new generation day! i'm going with a lot of my friends from school, and we are looking forward to it anxiously!

anyways, lots in store for this month off, starting a new job at the sens store, an ugly christmas sweater potluck with my girls (pictures to come haha) and a visit from my cousin cindy and her husband dave from california! we haven't seen them in about three years so it will be so nice to have the whole family together for christmas!

in case i don't post again for a while, merry christmas to everyone and thanks for checking out my blog! i will definitely post more frequently when i'm back in toronto, and have a more stable internet connection.
